We have a number of GPs working from Whitebridge Medical Centre who maintain a special interest in Women’s Health. This includes assistance with contraception, fertility advice, unplanned pregnancy, routine pregnancy, health screening, implanon insertion, symptoms of menopause and many other services.

The GPs working from our clinic take great pride in offering extra special care for our smallest patients.

Some of the services we offer include 6 week newborn checks, developmental checks and milstone checks, immunisations (and advice on both on schedule and off schedule items), management of childhood illnesses and other general child issues.

We are fortunate to have a skin cancer specialty GP working from our clinic. Dr Ken is a very experienced skin cancer proceduralist who can perform a large variety of advanced skin cancer removal surgery. Dr Ken is also our specialist skin check GP.

The GPs at Whitebridge Medical work closely with our practice nurse to provide our childhood immunisation service. Booked as a long appointment we see immunisations as a time to check in on all developmental milestones and to get ahead of any issues that may be developing. These appointments are booked with both the GP and a practice nurse to ensure all bases are covered over the course of the consult.

Mens health and men’s mental health is a priority for our clinicians. We offer comprehensive advice on a wide range of men's health issues to support you or your partner at any age. Our team understands the unique health challenges men face and are here to provide expert guidance and care.

We are happy to offer video or phone consults alongside our face to face service for patients of the surgery. Medicare have quite stringent rules on accessing rebates for telehealth services so please check with the surgery at the time of booking if you are eligible for a rebate. Typically if you have been seen face to face in the surgery by any of our doctors in the last 12 months you will be eligible. for a rebate. We use COVIU as our video platform which does not require any apps of accounts on your end. We can also arrange phone consults for those uncomfortable or unable to perform video consults.

Laverty Pathology are onsite to provide pathology collection through our dedicated collection room. Referrals from outside providers are welcome. Hours vary so please see the Laverty Website for the most up to date times and days.

We are happy to assist you to recover and manage your Workers Compensation or CTP claim. Until a claim number is provided your consults will need to be self funded (and claimed back off your insurance company). Claim numbers are typically generated at the time of your employer notifying their insurer of the injury.

We strongly believe mental health matters. In creating a safe, non-judgemental space where seeking support is encouraged and not stigmatised we hope to help you along your mental health journey. Accessing mental health care is a proactive step toward wellbeing and we are privileged to be a part of your management. Mental Health treatment plans require a long (30 minute) appointment.

Dr Kathleen Wild is our Gender Affirming Care speciality GP with significant knowledge and experience in this area. We take pride in welcoming all members of our community to the clinic and all clinicians within the service endeavour to practice open and accepting care for all patients.

Dr Elly Goodsall is our specialty ADHD GP within the clinic. Currently Dr Elly provides streamlined ADHD assessments in conjunction with a series of offsite psychiatrists and we look forward to launching our specilaied ADHD GP Clinic from Whitebridge Medical Centre in 2025.
